Research and development is at the heart of everything we do here at Advanta.

We are excited about the high-performance hybrids we have introduced in recent years and just as excited about the new products in our pipeline.

Advanta US joins Advanta India, Advanta Argentina, Advanta Australia and Advanta Thailand to form the largest genetic germplasm base in sorghum around the world.  These five independent breeding programs within the Advanta organization gives our seed partners an unparalleled source for genetics and technology for the future. 

Our research and development team will lead the breeding efforts in the U.S. to apply technologies and integrating germplasm that will generate heterosis and a bright future for forages. This commitment will generate seed with better energy conversion, better forage production, higher sugar contents and production improvements like herbicide tolerance.

Our "know-how" has resulted in a product line that provides the best seed available. Advanta hybrids are selected to be competitive in the marketplace and are consistently among the top performers. Pedigrees are designed to provide the best disease, pest and stress tolerance to ensure adequate performance and yield.

Our production areas are selected to provide maximum isolation and assurance of the highest genetic purity possible, which results in a product that is attractive in the field. We take pride in our ability to condition the seed so our customers receive uniform seed size, the latest seed treatment and an attractive package.
